Requirements to Baptize at St. Joachim
Register at the Parish Rectory - BAPTISMS ARE TAKING PLACE EVERY SUNDAY ALTERNATING ENGLISH AND SPANISH
- A Child Must be Under Six(6) Years of Age. Children Ages Seven(7) to Twelve(12) Must go through C.C.D.
- Parents or Legal Guardians Must Register Their Child
- Must Register at least fifteen(15) Days in Advance
- Bring Legally Issued Birth Certificate
- We will not accept a birth certificate issued by a hospital.
- Names of God-Parents
- Both God-Parents must have received their Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, First Communion)
- If Married: Must be Married by the Church
- If Single: Must not be cohabiting
- Parents and God-Parents will be Required to Attend A Class Prior to the Baptism (Classes Valid for Two-Years) - No classes available during pandemic
- English: Every other Friday at 7:00 pm in Room 71 of the Parish Center
- Español: Every other Thursday at 7:00 pm at Holy Spouses Hall
If you are coming from a different Parish to Baptize, Bring:
- Permission Letter from the Pastor of your Parish

Baptisms at St. Joachim are Sunday's at 2:00 pm. Call in advance to inquire about Saturday Baptisms. During this pandemic baptisms are at 11:30am in the courtyard next to the main parking lot.

To attain a copy of you or your child's baptism certificate, a $10.00 processing fee will be charged at the time the copy is picked up.
